Read and clear purchase and refinance transactions; both residential and commercial. Minimum of 3 years experience with title insurance underwriting. Must hold a NJ Title Insurance license. Proficiency in Snapclose and Excel.

The seminar will take place at 95 South Middletown in Nanuet, New York on January 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on January 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Daniel Rand, the program’s speaker, will be providing information about job opportunities and license scholarships.
“During the session, we’ll be offering a comprehensive instruction of the ever-changing mortgage and insurance sales industry,” said Daniel Rand, director of home services for Hudson United. “We’ll also be answering questions from new-license prospects.”
Once enrolled, the students will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the mortgage and insurance business, which will prepare them on how to read the market and assist any customers who come to them for guidance. These seminars give the chance to become licensed in New York, New Jersey, or both.

Loan Origination Position Scope of work:
- Incubation and Origination of Mortgage Loans from internet and real estate referral lead sources.
- 2 Years of loan origination is preferred.
Loan Originator Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Originate FHA and Fannie Mae mortgage applications.
- Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
- Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
- Determine all applicable rations and metrics and set up debt payment plans
- Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
- Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
- Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
- Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
- Maintain and update account records
- Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
