  • Communicating/coordinating with all parties regarding the Real Estate closing transactions.
  • Gathering payoffs, HOA statements, discharges, commission statements, and any invoices needed for the preparation of the Settlement Statement (i.e. HUD/CD);
  • Making sure all liens and judgments are addressed and title is clear before closing.
  • Preparation of any endorsements/amendments to title as needed.
  • Preparation of the HUD/CD (Settlement Statement for commercial transactions as needed):
  • Scheduling closings and making arrangements for outside closers to attend off-site closings;
  • Coordinating with lenders and preparing closing packages;
  • Disbursement and all post-closing including recordings.
  • Escrow follow-up calls and coordinates releases.

Do not have to be licensed, but must have 2 years or + of Experience.

Salary is based on experience.

The Title Insurance Clearance Officer will work with the processing team to produce files from origination through closing. Position is responsible for handling large volumes of files; both residential and commercial transactions. Strong customer service skills are a must as this position is very involved with communication with clients, salespeople, attorney’s and underwriters. A high attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Read and clear purchase and refinance transactions; both residential and commercial. Examine abstracts of titles, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues in connection with title insurance commitments

Minimum of 3 years experience with title insurance underwriting. Must hold a NJ Title Insurance license. Proficiency in Snapclose and Excel.
