Hudson United Announces Career Seminar for Mortgage and Insurance Sales in 2018

Hudson United is excited to announce it will now provide a career seminar for those who are interested in mortgage and insurance sales. The seminar will take place at 95 South Middletown in Nanuet, New York on January 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on January 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Daniel Rand, the program’s speaker, will be providing information about job opportunities and license scholarships.

“During the session, we’ll be offering a comprehensive instruction of the ever-changing mortgage and insurance sales industry,” said Daniel Rand, director of home services for Hudson United. “We’ll also be answering questions from new-license prospects.”

Once enrolled, the students will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the mortgage and insurance business, which will prepare them on how to read the market and assist any customers who come to them for guidance. These seminars give the chance to become licensed in New York, New Jersey, or both.

“Throughout the curriculum, our students will receive a valuable tutelage that they won’t find anywhere else,” said Rand. “They will build a firm understanding of what to expect from their clients and what their clients expect from them, and we look forward to sending potential recruits into the field so they can apply what they’ve learned.”

Title Insurance Clearance Officer

Job Description

Rapidly growing title abstract company in New York & New Jersey. We are currently seeking a hardworking and experienced Title Insurance Officer to join one of New Jersey’s fastest growing title companies and most successful title team!

The Title Insurance Clearance Officer will work with the processing team to produce files from origination through closing. Position is responsible for handling large volumes of files; both residential and commercial transactions. Strong customer service skills are a must as this position is very involved with communication with clients, salespeople, attorney’s and underwriters. A high attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Read and clear purchase and refinance transactions; both residential and commercial. Examine abstracts of titles, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues in connection with title insurance commitments

Minimum of 3 years experience with title insurance underwriting. Must hold a NJ Title Insurance license. Proficiency in Snapclose and Excel.

NJ Title Processor (Junior)

Job Description

Rapidly growing title abstract company in New Jersey. We are currently seeking a hardworking and experienced NJ Title Closing Processor to join one of New Jersey’s fastest growing title companies and most successful title team!

The processor will be communicating/coordinating with all parties regarding the Real Estate closing transactions. Gathering payoffs, HOA statements, discharges, commission statements, and any invoices needed for the preparation of the Settlement Statement (i.e. HUD/CD); Making sure all liens and judgments are addressed and title is clear before closing; Preparation of any endorsements/amendments to title as needed. Preparation of the HUD/CD (Settlement Statement for commercial transactions as needed. Scheduling closings and making arrangements for outside closers to attend off site closings; Coordinating with lenders and preparing closing packages; Disbursement and all post-closing including recordings. Escrow follow calls and coordinating releases. Do not have to be licensed but must have no less than two years or + of Experience. Salary based on experience.

Pay: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
